1. Prevention of pests

In summer, with high temperature and humidity, all kinds of germs and pests are most likely to breed and multiply. Therefore, special attention should be paid to prevent diseases and pests. Its defense measures include: comprehensive drug defense, artificial defense, and targeted defense.

2. Prevent defertilizing and lack of fertilizer

Summer is the peak of fertilizer demand for apple trees. If fertilizer is not applied in time, a lack of fertilization will occur, which will affect the tree growth and the normal development of young fruits. Therefore, fertilizer should be applied timely. Normally, for general big trees urea、potassium sulphate can be applied to each tree, mixed to 2 kg according to a ratio of 3:10:5. For fields with a significant lack of fertilizer, you can also mix in an appropriate amount of water-soluble fertilizer when spraying, and spray on the leaves.

3.Prevent apple tree damaged by high temperature

In midsummer,high temperature,and strong sun,the temperature of the apple fruit sometimes can reach 45℃ or higher,causing sunburn to the apple. The symptom is that dark spots appear on the fruit surface, and then gradually spread to a bigger area until it rots, which has a greater impact on yield. The orchard can be watered or sprayed water in time to reduce temperature and increase humidity and prevent direct damage to the fruit from high temperature and strong sunlight.

4.Prevent premature aging

Summer is the peak period of nutrient consumption of apple trees. Often due to lack of fertilizer or waterlogging, it often tends to age early. Therefore, in the summer, in addition to the timely application of fertilizer to prevent premature aging, we should also pay attention to prevent and remove waterlogging.

Waterlogging is an important reason for the premature aging of apple trees, so the ditch should be cleared and drained in time to make the ground dry after the rain so that the orchard does not accumulate water and the soil is dry.

5. Prevent gale and hailstones

Summer weather and climate change greatly, it is a period of the frequent occurrence of meteorological disasters such as strong winds and hailstones, and defenses should be strengthened.

For hail disasters, large-scale preventive measures should be taken, that is when hail occurs, launch hail-, eliminating bombs into hail clouds to eliminate hail in advance. After the hailstone takes timely remedial measures such as the application of fertilizer and watering the apple tree.

For gale disasters, ropes tying and hanging branches should be taken at the appropriate time before the disaster to prevent strong wind from breaking the tree trunks or branches, so as to reduce the damage due to the gales.
